Transgender Awareness Week took place from November 12 - 19, concluding today with a day of remembrance. Transgenders face a multitude of discriminations, acts of violence, and almost 1 in 5 experience homelessness. This infographic explains why so many transgender youth find themselves homeless, as well as ways to prevent such a tragedy and advocate for LGBT youth.
