How We Vote Could Make You Sick, And We Shouldn't Accept That
Voting is a right; This shouldn’t be a controversial statement but it is. I am an intern for an organization called "The People.” We are proudly nonpartisan with members from all walks of life and different backgrounds. To quote our website, "The Peop

The Georgia elections Tuesday were characterized as “catastrophe.” A new $104 million voting system broke down, many voters couldn’t vote as a result of a ballot shortage, and those who could ended up waiting hours in line to exercise their right to vote.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has called for an investigation, but leading advocates for systemic reform say what happened underscores the need for change, including accessible vote-by-mail ballots.

Shouted down as a "spoiler" for three weeks after announcing he was getting ready to run for president as a Libertarian, Justin Amash has abandoned the idea of a third-party candidacy.
The coronavirus pandemic's hindrance on his prospects was the reason offered last weekend by the Republican-turned-independent conservative congressman from Michigan. But many will fairly conclude he was bowing to the withering attacks he received.

When a Curve Is Not Necessarily a Curve
This Opinion first appeared on California Globe
By Sen. John M.W. Moorlach and Craig Keshishian
Maybe Benjamin Franklin was right. In a 1755 letter to the Pennsylvania Assembly, he said, “Those who give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
It can be fairly argued that we as Californians did sacrifice some of the most essential liberties enshrined by our Constitution and our Bill of Rights for the ostensible tradeoff of staying at h
