Tulsi Gabbard Attacked by Partisans, Media for Defying Establishment on Syria
U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) recently returned from a fact-finding mission to Syria and Lebanon "to see and hear directly from the Syrian people." That is Gabbard's account of her trip. However, partisans in both parties as well as some members of the media don't like that Gabbard took this "secret trip."

Washington – Okay, let’s keep score. He’s thrown down the gauntlet. After taking the oath of office, President Trump used his Inaugural address to tar his presidential predecessors and most of Congress, whose members sat around him, as failures – “politicians who are all talk and no action.” So that’s Trump’s standard – action, not talk.
What his predecessors had b

Expected to vote on the measure Thursday, the South Dakota Senate delayed the vote until Wednesday.

WikiLeaks Blows the Whistle: Bye Bye TPP, Hello TiSA
While everyone was busy discussing the TPP and NAFTA renegotiation during the presidential election, very few noticed that another trade agreement, possibly the biggest and with a stronger potential impact to the economy, was being negotiated behind the scenes.
In January 2013, Ambassador Ron Kirk notified U.S. Congress on Obama’s intentions to enter negotiations for a new trade agreement on international trade in services with 20 trading partners, called the Trade in Service Agreement (TiSA).

Trump: Power Belongs to the People, Not the Washington Elite

Lucy Killea: A Political Icon Who Transcended Partisan Politics
As a young guy it didn’t take me long to figure out how smart Lucy Killea was. She was an extraordinary intellect and a great politician. She was clever and capable of not getting stuck in the ruts that politicians of our generation have unfortunately gotten trapped in. Lucy would often remind me that "knowing WHEN to be right is often as important as simply being right."
The words below are more than 25 years old. I was proud to stand by her in 1991, but I can't imagine any time when her words
