Anne-Marie Slaughter, author of recent cover article in The Atlantic, "Why Women Still Can't Have it All", has landed a book deal, according to the New York Times. Slaughter's article went viral, spawned countless responses and ushered the work-life balance of working mothers back into the spotlight.

As the Times reports:

Anne-Marie Slaughter, a Princeton professor who is a former high-ranking State Department official, has made a deal with Random House for a book that will “further elaborate the issues raised in the Atlantic article, and will provide a blueprint for action in the personal, professional, and public sphere,” the publisher said in a statement.
