Elecciones Primarias 2016 en San Diego: Ubica tu Casilla para Votar

Los ciudadanos de San Diego se dirigirán a las urnas este martes 7 de junio, para participar en las elecciones primarias de 2016. Los votantes tendrán la oportunidad de votar en la contienda para Alcalde, Procurador General, y Concejales de la Ciudad.

Si estas registrado como votante independiente o “sin preferencia de partido” y quieres votar en la elección presidencial, puedes pedir tu boleta del Partido Demócrata en las urnas. Las elecciones Republicanas son cerradas y no permiten a independientes votar.

Google y el Proyecto para Informar a los Votantes (Voting Information Project) se unieron en 2012 para dar a los votantes toda la información que requieren en un sólo lugar. La información basada en ubicación da a los usuarios la ubicación de la casilla más cercana, fechas de la elección, muestra de la boleta electoral, y el contacto del Secretario de Estado. A partir de ese momento, cada año electoral Google ha sumado más socios, y hoy en día provee el mismo sistema de información para votantes junto con The Pew Charitable Trusts y la Asociación de Internet.

Los votantes simplemente necesitan escribir su dirección y el sistema genera la ubicación de su casilla electoral y una muestra de su boleta electoral.
