The Dwell Homes tour is coming to San Diego this weekend, November 9-11. Dwell Magazine will be putting on home tours in five Cities, each of which will span over two days, and includes a ten modern home viewings. San Diego is chock full of modern architecture, which many may not know about unless you are an insider. This home tour enables local San Diegan's to experience great architecture for one weekend only.

The tour was founded by Architects Louis Kahn and William Pereira, and is loaded with groundbreaking private homes from some of the most innovative architects. They will be kicking the Dwell Home Tours weekend off by offering a reception located at Hold It Contemporary Home showroom to meet the architects behind these homes.

Enthusiasts will be able to mingle with the architects over cocktails. Local architects that will be attending include: James Brown & James Gates, Brett Farrow, Lindsay and Rory Brown, Soheil Nakhshab,  Bill Bocken, Randy McGeough, Carolyn LaFrance , and Taal Safdie

Attendees are capable of purchasing tickets for all three days or just one day if you choose and a portion of the tickets will be go towards their non-profit partner, Architecture for Humanity. The homes tour looks to be a promising event where everyone can appreciate local architects from around the San Diego area.
