Mike Huckabee responded: *“People are outraged that someone who expresses a view that is shared by most of the country is being bullied by hate speech and intolerance from the militant gay groups that are trying to disenfranchise his right to a personal opinion.”* 2. Huckabee later declared August 1st to be **"Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day"** asking supporters who share the same views as the fast food chain to support them by visiting them in stores. 3.
