Edward Bonnette commented on the post, Planned Outage at Diablo Canyon Brings Economic Boost, on the site Clean Money, Clean Energy 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Many people always seem quick to say they do not want nuclear plants around them, but offer no solution as to how they will cover the power that is provided by these clean energy sources. This one plant alone […]

Edward Bonnette commented on the post, Marriage Equality: For All or None, on the site Taking Action 1 month, 3 weeks ago
It has always seemed to me that the easiest solution to the ‘problem’ of same sex marriage was simply to allow it in the courts, and have it recognized under the federal law, but allow churches to have the choice […]

Edward Bonnette commented on the post, Spending to Repeal DOMA Far Exceeds Support for the Law, on the site IVN 1 month, 3 weeks ago
When you look back through the history books, it seems crazy that it was illegal for a white person to marry a person of a different race. I think that our children or grandchildren will probably be reading about […]

Edward Bonnette commented on the post, Opponents of Energy Drink Ban Claim It Is ‘Nanny State’ Regulation, on the site IVN 1 month, 3 weeks ago
This is a good article. I don’t agree with the ban on energy drinks but I am glad that the lawmakers were smart enough to amend the bill to not focus on caffeine because arbitrary bans almost never stand up in court.

I am not so sure about this voucher system though admittedly I do not know much about the system. However, I am pretty sure that even people without children must pay some taxes that ultimately go to help fund […]

It makes no sense to me how anyone can be held by American forces without being allowed their day in court. We are always so quick to just say well these are terrorists so who cares, but what if the roles were […]

I agree with the other comments, this is a possible solution but with some potential risks. I too feel that some face time is needed in Washington. I also fear that network security may not be where it needs to be […]

Edward Bonnette commented on the post, Partisan Primaries Cost Taxpayers $400 Million Last Year, on the site IVN 2 months ago
It is interesting that the state would fund these partisan events. It makes me curious how the parties roped the state into covering their bills in the first place and what possible alternatives there could be if […]
