Romney Campaign App Confirms Rep. Paul Ryan as Running Mate

Though the Mitt Romney campaign app got off to a slow start, it has finally caught up to the social networks like Twitter that virally spread news reports of a possible Paul Ryan pick late Friday, and confirmed those reports early Saturday with these words:
“Mitt’s choice for VP is Paul Ryan. Spread the word about America’s comeback team.”
Now that the congressman from Wisconsin, known for his fiscal policy rhetoric, is Mitt Romney’s confirmed running mate, Paul Ryan’s voting record and political philosophy will face closer national scrutiny than ever before.

“He voted for the PATRIOT Act, No Child Left Behind, the Iraq war, Medicare Part D, and the TARP.” And this is what moves conservatives?

Unenthusiastically. Should have picked Condi. Ryan votes party line. Not a free thinker. Definitely voting for Gary Johnson now.

Obama/Biden, Romney/Ryan both the same. They both care about themselves, their own personal special interest.

So now it`s Paul Ryan as Romney`s VP pick. Along with the incumbents Obama and Biden, the Four Horsemen (maybe a fifth if Ron Paul runs as a so-called “independent”…LOL) of America`s Apocalypse have taken the stage. What an absolutely nauseating “choice” facing our country. America deserves a LOT better.

Duncan, I’m a little confused as to why you’d include Ron Paul as the “5th horseman”. He is nothing at all like the four other imbeciles. Dr. Paul is a true statesman, the others are just corporate puppets. Dumb comment on your part.

Ryan was on Obamas Simpson-Bowles Committee; picked by Obama and ignored by Obama. He is a good bipartisan guy.

If you like Medicare, maybe you want to save it? What is Obamas specific plan? I will decide between the two plans when I hear his. Please elaborate if someone knows what Obama’s plan is? Roads and bridges?

Stacey, what’s there to decide between them? Can’t you see that Willard and Barry are identical? Tell me one major issue they disagree on.
And Ryan is not bipartisan. He’s a right-wing, partisan republican hack. The fact that he was picked by Obama for a committee should tell you he can’t be trusted.

Finally, republicans won’t be able to hide from talking about Ryan’s plan and how draconian it is. I think this is fantastic. :)

when i saw the 3 that romney was choosing from for VP , i knew he would pick Ryan = budget experience and white house experience … and Ryan did not vote for TARP, he refused to vote for or against …. he told the chairman that he could not vote either way because it was a choice that he was not comfortable making
