Biden Defends Obama to the NAACP

One day after Mitt Romney was booed during his speech to the NAACP, Vice President Joe Biden was warmly welcomed by the nation’s largest civil rights organization on Thursday.
The AP reports:
Biden drew cheers as he credited Obama for championing a landmark health care law, launching the mission that killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and stepping in to rescue the financial system and U.S. automakers General Motors and Chrysler.
Vice President Joe Biden told the crowd 2.2 million African American families will see a tax increase if Romney’s tax plan passes.
Biden defended the Affordable Care Act to an enthusiastic and welcoming crowd:

NAACP took a page from the CNN playbook and chose not to invite Gary Johnson to speak, even though he wrote a very respectful letter asking to be included. The irony is Johnson is the only candidate promising to end the most violent, destructive, RACIST policy since slavery: THE DRUG WAR.
Good job NAACP, you just whiffed at an opportunity to show the rest of the establishment how to lead by example. But no, booing Romney and applauding Obama/Biden is much more safe and comfy. Yeah, that.
