I suspect it will be shot down because it is unconstitutional. The Obama administration has a bad habit of ignoring the constitution not to mention the American people. The polls have always shown the majority of people against Obamacare but democrats shoved it through anyway. When it is shot down Republicans will harp on the fact that Obama spent time on an unconstitutional effort instead of working on the economy and jobs.

I think it will be shot down because, well, this court is not exactly friendly of this kind of stuff.

The Supreme Court will likely uphold the mandate. The majority of people in a WaPo poll published Monday supported the health care mandate when Obama’s name wasn’t attached to it. This leads me to believe that the distate for the law is built more on misinformation on what the provisions of the law are and personal feelings toward Obama, than what the law mandates. Also, public opinion has little to do with its legal constitutionality. Expect a plurality decision in support of the mandate with Roberts writing for the majority.
